White corundum is made from fine alumina oxide powder and crystallized by high temperature electric melting. Its hardness is slightly higher than that of brown corundum with low toughness, high purity, good self-sharpening, strong grinding ability, low calorific value, high efficiency, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion and high temperature thermal stability.
